Kurdistan Region Presidency Condemns Attack on Student

Salahaddin, Kurdistan Region (KRP.org)- The Kurdistan Region Presidency is saddened by news of the abduction and murder of Mr. Zardasht Osman, a student at the University of Salahaddin.

While the investigation is ongoing and it remains unclear who is responsible for the attack, the Kurdistan Region Presidency has called on the Ministry of Interior and security agencies to expend all available resources in bringing those responsible for this terrible crime to justice.

The Kurdistan Region Presidency reiterates its commitment to the fostering of a peaceful, democratic, and lively civic culture in the Kurdistan Region. Threats and acts against citizens of the Kurdistan Region will not be tolerated and those responsible must expect to be held criminally responsible for their actions.
